The opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Communications Intern to support the development and rollout of the Company’s new global intranet. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact digital transformation initiative that will shape how employees access information and stay connected across the organization.

Working closely with the Employee Communications team, you will help document intranet best practices, assess and map content needs, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and contribute to content development. You will also support the coordination of day-to-day employee communications, helping ensure content is clear, accessible, and aligned with organizational priorities.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with digital platforms, possesses strong writing and organizational skills, and enjoys collaborating across teams. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to create a seamless and engaging employee experience through effective communications. 

The role

Intranet Revamp Project

  • Assist in auditing existing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with best practices

  • Help map content structures and identify gaps to improve usability and navigation 

  • Gather and analyze employee feedback and usage data to inform go-forward structure

  • Support the migration, organization, and cleanup of content as part of the global intranet content consolidation

  • Participate in testing new features, templates, and enhancements prior to launch

  • Document processes, guidelines, and best practices to support long-term intranet governance

Employee Communications

  • Provide general support for employee communications initiatives and campaigns

  • Assist in developing and formatting engaging content, including announcements, articles, and updates.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and ensure consistent messaging

  • Help maintain editorial calendars and coordinate content workflows across teams 

The requirements

  • Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field of study

  • Experience in internal communications, digital content management, HR support, or similar role

  • Strong written and editing skills in English

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams

  • Basic experience with content management systems (CMS) or intranet platforms preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with intranet platforms or internal communication tools

  • Familiarity with editorial calendars or content governance

  • Basic understanding of user experience and information organization

  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects or system integrations
