The Planning Analyst-Technical will be responsible for the analysis, development and updating of reports, information systems, projects and tools for the Planning and Scheduling department. The Analyst will ensure that the appropriate documentation is completed for developed programs and ensure that users are adequately trained to use new systems.

The role

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable recommendations to upper management and the team to improve planning and scheduling processes.
• Perform the analysis, programming, testing and maintenance of Information Systems to provide support in the planning department.
• Collaborate with schedulers and other analysts to gather requirements and develop custom data models, metrics, and KPIs that align with departmental goals, leveraging tools such as Tableau, Excel VBA and SQL.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy through routine validation and maintenance of data systems and databases.
• Develop, test, and maintain automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing, reporting, and other repetitive tasks, reducing manual effort and errors.

The requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Studies or a related discipline.
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a related field.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to take initiative and be proactive in resolving any issues encountered.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
